Oregano Flower
The oregano Mani Anthos is indigenous and blooms in May at the foot of Taygetos, on the dry stony estates owned by the family.
It is traditionally gathered after Saint John of "Riganas" which is celebrated on June 24.
Patiently collected, our Mani Anthos oregano is then carefully tied in bunches that are hung in a dry and shady place until they dry in a completely natural way.

It is traditionally rubbed by hand from where the most Greek summer aromas emerge and immediately packed in glass jars.
It is characterized as one of the best oregano in the world since its excellent aroma and strong earthy taste remain unchanged over the years even after opening the package.
A delicacy with multiple beneficial properties which comes from the land of Mani and takes us on a journey every time we taste it.
Extra info: in Laconian Mani, in Spring, green oregano is cooked as a vegetable along with goat in the stew on Easter Monday.
